Chiron--Refrence COMPLETE

I'm thinking about auditioning for an OCT, and of course I chose Chiron as the main character. The general gist of the tournament is that your main character has to battle other characters for their souls, and if you manage to win and collect all of the souls, you get to bring someone back to life.

APPEARANCE:
-5'9", 175 lbs, 21 years old
-Black spiky hair, unnaturally green eyes
-Very strong and toned

PERSONALITY:
-Fun-loving and laid back, but recent traumatic events have left him cold, bitter, and hostile. Always a bit of hot-head. Despite this, he has still retained his charisma and charm, and always enjoys a good time.

-Tends to get angered easily, and will never back down from a challenge. If someone insults him to his face, he'll immediately go after said person.

-He has a very good heart and a strong set of morals that dictate his life. In the end, he does what is best for himself, his friends, and his country. Very firm in his beliefs and opinion, and is usually very hard to persuade. Once he is set on something, he will very rarely change his mind.

ABILITIES:
-Can shape-shift at will into a gryphon. The transformation is quick and entirely painless, and leaves all his clothes in tact. Can also do partial-transformations, i.e. just changing his hands or just growing his wings, but this, ironically, takes more concentration than doing a full change. Sometimes a transformation is not entirely voluntary; a very strong emotion like anger or fear can trigger a change.

-Quick regenerative powers. A cut can heal in minutes, a broken bone in hours. However, a severed limb will not regenerate, although Chiron can reattach it with his magic. But this takes an immense amount of energy and will leave him very weak.

-A very strong fighter, both with weapons and hand-to-hand. Prefers to use a traditional sword when fighting, but he is more than adequate to fight with any sort of weapon he can get his hands on. If no weapons are near by, he will make one (use rocks, pipes, even string) or he'll fight hand-to-hand. A very fierce and strong opponent who loves a good challenge

-Has very powerful magic. However, he is not very good at casting spells or controlling his magic. It takes a lot of his energy and concentration to form a spell, and he can often lose control, which is why he really never uses his magic unless he has to. He can focus his energy into his hands to increase the damage of his blows, but again, it takes more energy than Chiron likes.

-Because of his gryphon-half, his senses are very keen, although not as keen as they are in his full-gryphon form. Sharp sight, hearing, and smell. In his gryphon form he can still talk and can walk on either two or four legs.

MARKINGS
-Three blue diamond tattoos on shoulder, one on forehead. All are visible in his gryphon form, although his bangs tend to hide the mark on his forehead.

-Red-tipped wings and tail in gryphon form

-Crescent moon necklace was a gift from his mother. It was a present from Fiero given to his wife, Ellana, and Ellana gave it to her son when Fiero died. Chiron wears it all the time and the necklace is very important to him.

GRYPHON FORM/MISC.
-A good flier, although he cannot fly in small, enclosed spaces. He is also much stronger in his gryphon form than in his human form. Chiron can "tap into" his gryphon strength, but then again, this takes a bit of energy, and usually just prefers to turn into a gryphon.
-Has been known to go "feral." Although Chiron retains his mindset and consciousness in his animal form, if he gets incredibly angry or emotional, he will lose control and enter a feral-like state. He will attack anyone in his path, be it friend or foe. He can only be stopped if he is knocked out or is exhausted.

BACKGROUND
Chiron is from the land called Veilik, which has a very long and gruesome history. THe land was usually ruled by military dictators, who would then be assassinated to be ruled by another heartless dictator. Chiron's father, Fiero, thought that enough was enough, and in a long and brutal battle, upseated the current dictator and took power. He changed the laws so now the country was a democratic monarchy, with one king and twelve advisors. He changed the country around and is considered the greatest hero in history for bringing peace to the land.
But even the good king Fiero had his enemies. When Chiron was 18, an assassin attempted to murder him, but luckily, Chirons life was saved. The sorceress that saved his life cast a spell over his body, but the spell had a horrible twist even the sorceress could not predict. The spell saved Chiron's life, but cursed him to be a monster, a hybrid of man and gryphon. In time, Chiron learned to control his transformations and has come to terms with what he is now.
The assassin that tried to murder Chiron in the first place came back with a vengeance, and the two were immensed in a long, bloody, and terrible battle. In the end, Chiron killed the assassin, but he himself was on the brink of death. Fiero witnessed the fight, and refused to let his only son die. Using a spell long lost through time, Fiero transferred his life force into Chiron, saving his life. However, this noble deed took Fiero's own life.
Chiron was devastated by the loss of his father. What's even more, he was thrust upon the throne far sooner than he, and the Advisors, liked. SO now Chiron has been searching for a spell for years to bring his father back, and his journey to revive his father brings him to the tournment!
