Logan Green Reference

Miscellaneous information: Logan's father is an alcoholic, but still loves Logan very much. Uses it as a crutch and has been known to go out and drink himself until he passes out. After Logan lost his sight, his father became better about not drinking so much, but still does. Also his glass eyes can move as if they were real.

Logan's mother died when he was six. After the accident which resulted in his blindness, he discovered his mother was a basilisk as well. He kees his secret from his father out of fear of being rejected.

He is very close friends with Angie and Jason. Chris is another of his friends, but is a little intimidated around him. Madison helped Logan to learn how to use his senses and played a huge role in coping with his blindness.

Basilisk Information: Even though he is blind, he is still a very dangerous creature. He has a venomous bite that can make an elephant drop dead, and his saliva (if concentrated enough) is acidic and can cause severe burns. It is rumored that a basilisk's breath alone can make a person lose consciousness, but Logan has yet to find out if that's true.
Being part-snake, he can "see" using his forked tongue and heightened sense of smell. It's more than enough to compensate for his blindness and can move about without much difficulty in his basilisk form while using his sense of smell.
Logan's main weakness is the crowing of a rooster. Although it won't kill him, according to old legends, it is enough to cripple him and even paralyze him. Prolonged exposure can make his eardrums rupture, and his body undergoes similar effects of that of an electrical current running through his body.
