Age: Currently 38
Height/Weight Around 5 1/2 fet tall, about 180 lbs.

Historical Significance David is the lead singer of the rock band Disturbed and is known for his distorted voice and rhythmic singing style. He is considered by many as one of the best metal singers of all time.

Personality and Personal Life Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, David is a rough and tough sort of guy but friendly enough; after all, he is a performer and makes a conscientious effort to put forth his best front for his fans. He loves performing and singing and wouldn't give it up for the world. He is surprisingly very straight-edged; he doesn't even drink much, which is partially due to his severe Acid Reflux Disease.

At the age of sixteen, David's girlfriend committed suicide. Heart-broken and grief-stricken, David spiraled into despair and recovery for the young boy seemed unlikely. A fearsome demon then appeared to him. The Demon attempted to possess David's body, but David managed to contain the demon and imprisoned it within two metal piercings, which he wears on his lips at all times.

David is Jewish. Although he isn't outwardly religious, he has a deep hatred for Nazis or anyone who wears Nazi memorabilia, hence his eagerness to fight against Hitler and his army.

Abilities Using his voice, David can create high-pressure sound blasts that can knock a man off his feet. He can distort his voice to any frequency from a high-pitched screech shrill enough to shatter glass or a low growl that is inaudible to human ears.
His singing has a power of his own, and the songs manifest into reality with each song David sings. For example, if David sings "Indestructible," David achieves temporary invincibility. Singing "Inside the Fire" makes objects spontaneously burst into flames. And "Land of Confusion" will distort and, well, confuse the world around him, sending his victim into a whirl. However, for this ability to work, David must be singing at all times, and once he stops or the song ends, the power stops. Sometimes the powers that come with his singing don't always work or are not focused properly, which makes this ability dangerous.

DARKNESS The song "Darkness" has a power completely unique from all other songs David sings. Because of its soothing and calming nature, when David sings "Darkness," any and all wounds on himself or on anyone of his choosing will heal.

THE GUY The Guy is the mascot of Disturbed, but is also the fearsome demon David contains in his lip piercings. The Guy is the very definition of chaotic good; he is always thinking of ways to inflict justice while at the very same time trying to create as much chaos and anarchy as possible. Although not outright evil, he is still incredibly dangerous and David does his best to keep him contained and in control. It's suspect that David's own powers came from The Guy, but David doesn't like to admit it. If The Guy is released, David is unable to use his own powers and is pretty much defenseless in battle; The Guy doesn't have much concern about David's well-being.

The Guy is super-strong, super-fast, malicious, and merciless. It will take down anything that stands in its way, bad or good, and always justifies its actions with "the end justifies the means."

The Guy also has a unique power. He has the power to inspire others around him. Just his presence is enough to make anyone within 50 feet of him drop whatever they are doing and join him on whatever mission The Guy has planned. To see an example of how his powers work, watch this video. [link]

Despite what is portrayed in the above link, The Guy cannot fly.

To release The Guy, David rips out his lip piercings, and The Guy manifests out of a portal the piercings create. To contain it, David must stab The Guy with the piercings, which will force it back within the piercings.
